Reviews:

"Nicola Cornick, Joanna Maitland and Elizabeth Rolls have each created three wonderfully rich and emotional stories." Rakehell

"These three novellas are perfectly balanced romances that can be read alone
but are so much more exciting when read as a whole.  Kudos to the authors for
their combined plotting and planning." Romantic Times Magazine

"Nicola Cornick, Joanna Maitland and Elizabeth Rolls have created an exceptional Regency anthology that tantalizes, mystifies and entertains around a house party at Lyndhurst Chase. These authors know how to write a Regency at it’s best, pushing the plot to a crescendo and if my laughter is any indication – they seemed to have enjoyed writing it together just as much. I hope they don’t keep me waiting too long for their next collaboration." RomanceJunkies December 2004

Nicola's Notes

The TV programme Regency House Party  aired in the UK in 2003 and gave author Joanna Maitland the wonderful idea for an anthology.  Working with Joanna and Elizabeth on this anthology was huge fun. Emails burned up the airwaves as we shared ideas on plots and characters. The result was a house party to remember!

About the book

The Fortune Hunter, in which Peter Quinlan has to marry money and finds a most unusual heiress, begins the story of three linked novellas from Harlequin Mills and Boon. The anthology also features stories by award nominees and rising stars of the Regency genre, Joanna Maitland and Elizabeth Rolls!

The Anthology

Major Anthony Lyndhurst is looking to appoint his heir and also to find a husband for his troublesome cousin Cassie Ward. Meanwhile, a mysterious abigail has a secret quest of her own that brings romance and danger. And Anthony himself finds his search for an heir taking a most unexpected and passionate turn...

A Regency Invitation was published in the UK in December 2004 and in the US in November 2005.
